HERITAGE LEARNING
Heritage learning may sound complex but it’s easy to understand, and you will gain first-hand knowledge and experience at the Taino Heritage Camp (THC).
Normally, people want to learn something about the past, and while that is important; the THC specialises in activity-based learning and using the past as a tool, which differs from the tradition approach to history.
For example, we teach in a Taino yukayeke (village), which is an activity-based
approach that gives students a new historical perspective and context to
inspire, nurture, and help them develop different skills.
